Why types of sessions do you offer?
We offer various Styled Portraiture sessions with focus on Beauty and Glamour, Boudoir, Maternity, and Personal Branding.
I'm really nervous. Is that normal?
It is definitely normal to be nervous for your boudoir session, so don't worry. Most of our clients are nervous until the session has gone on for a few minutes. After it starts, you’ll begin to loosen up. If you’re still nervous, we will take as many breaks as you need. We also have music playing which tends to help clients loosen up and even makes them dance.
I’m not a model – are boudoir photos still flattering even if my body isn’t perfect?
Absolutely! Every woman should be photographed. But i understand your concern, we beat ourselves up sometimes. But know that it is OK to dislike parts of your body, yes you read that right, what is important is that you believe that your worth is outside of our body. But of course, if you have any specific concerns, contact us and we can talk about it!
Do your packages include hair and makeup?
We do not offer hair and makeup with our packages. It’s completely up to you how ‘natural’ or ‘glam’ you’d like to come across in you empowerment photos; this is why we do not include hair and makeup in our packages. Some clients love embracing their natural hair texture and a clean glowy face, while others love a full glam look, so it's entirely up to you. If you decide to get your hair and makeup done we have a list of local hair and make up artist that would love to assist. You’ll want these photos to represent the best version of your everyday self.
Will my session be with a male or female photographer?
You will only have a female photographer for your session. That's me on the right :)
Do you provide the wardrobe?
We do not provide your wardrobe. This is something you’ll have to pick out and bring along yourself. If you need help choosing an outfit, we can definitely give you some suggestions, though.
What should I bring to my boudoir session?
For our sessions, we suggest three different outfits and any props you may want to incorporate. Need help choosing props and preparing for your session? Make sure you go over the Organic Boudoir Prep Guide that will be provided to you once you have booked your session.
How do I know how to pose?
Don’t worry about posing. We've totally got you covered in that department. We know all the tricks to create the most flattering angles for you, no matter what shape or size you are.
Am I allowed to bring alcohol to help loosen my nerves?
We prefer that you refrain from drinking alcohol day off session and the night before, as it tends to dehydrate you and make your face a bit puffy.
Can I bring a friend?
Due to the pandemic, I am only allowing one client in the room. Otherwise Yes, you can bring a friend if you think it will help you relax. However, sometimes an extra set of eyes has the opposite effect, even if it is a friend. They are more than welcome to come, but if they are making you uncomfortable, they may have to wait in a local coffee shop. OR you can book a boudoir party and have a girl day out where you and your best friends can all have your portrait taken.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
No. What you purchase is entirely up to you. No hard sell and no obligation to buy anything. You only buy what you love. Our job is to take photos of you that you will fall in love with and want to buy them all .
Do you offer digital images for sale?
We do not sell digitals. However, we provide you with complimentary digital files of all the photos you purchase as prints or packages. We believe in this personalized experience and the tangible products we offer can be touched, held, and enjoyed in multiple ways. These tangible pieces of art will serve as a daily reminder of your strength, beauty, and worth.
I want share these pictures with my partner, but I don't want loose prints floating around. Any ideas for the best gift?
This is a very common concern and we totally understand. We recommend placing an order for our heirloom albums. This is much more discreet and will keep all of your images in one place and not floating around. We also offer image boxes with mounted prints and accordion albums as well. Do you do touch-ups?
We hand edit each one of your images and do basic and light retouching of your portraits. We
Will my photos be used on your website or on social media?
We will not use/post any photos without your written permission. Most of our clients love showing their photos for other women to see how awesome the experience is, but some prefer to keep them completely private, and some others somewhere in between. Either way, we respect your privacy. It is entirely up to you.
What is your refund policy?
The session fee is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable, but it is transferable and credited for use within 6 months should you have to postpone your session.
